Â
- My Account â Data Exports Update Pop-upÂ
Description:
A new informational pop-up has been introduced on the âMy Accountâ page to inform users about the upcoming discontinuation of the âOriginal data exportsâ in the Data Exports section. The pop-up informs users that the original data exports will be discontinued in three months. After this period, only the âUpdated data exportsâ will remain available for download. The updated reports are almost identical to the original reports, with only minor differences. The original files are available in .csv format, while the updated reports are available in both .csv and .xlsx formats. The updated reports also include some additional fields.Â
Additional fields included in the updated reports:Â
| Updated report | Extra columns |
| Mark List | NORN to Holder, POU expiration date, SMD available |
| Labels List | Mark name, Sunrise, Claims, Ongoing |
| Cases and Labels List | Mark name |
| Order List | Mark name |
This first phase is intended to inform users in advance and provide sufficient notice before the original data exports are discontinued. In the second phase, the old reports will be officially discontinued.Â
- Client Interface â Chatbot IntegrationÂ
Description:
The chatbot has been integrated across the client interface, following the same implementation currently available on the TMCH marketing website.Â
Key features:Â
-
- A green chatbot button is now displayed in the bottom-right corner of every page within the client interface, allowing users to access support more easily while navigating the platform.Â
- The chatbot button is available across the client UI, including pages such as the Login page, Sign-In page, and Transfer Record page.Â
- Users can click the button at any time to open the chat window directly from the page they are viewing.Â
This enhancement improves accessibility to support and provides users with a consistent way to request assistance throughout the TMCH interface.Â
Â
- Get Support Tab â Trademark Record Reference FieldÂ
Description:
A new optional field has been added to the âGet Supportâ tab, allowing clients to enter the name and handle of the trademark record their request relates to.Â
For trademark-specific support requests, clients can now indicate the relevant trademark record directly when submitting a ticket. If the request does not relate to a specific trademark record, the field can be left empty.Â
Â
 Release: 15/04/2026Â
- Registration Page – Account QuestionnaireÂ
Description: We have introduced an Account Questionnaire on the Registration page to assist users in identifying the account type that best matches their profile.Â
The questionnaire guides users through a series of questions related to their role and how they intend to use the account. Based on their responses, the system provides a suggested account type to help users identify the option that best matches their characteristics and needs.Â
This enhancement is designed to support users during registration and make the account selection process more intuitive.Â
How the questionnaire works:Â
-
- A new questionnaire button is available directly below the account type selection on the Registration page, with the text:Â âNeed assistance choosing the right account? Take the questionnaireâ
- When the user clicks this button, the questionnaire opens in a full-screen pop-up. It can be closed at any time via the always-visible âXâ button in the top-right corner of the screen
- Initially, only the first question is displayed. All relevant follow-up questions appear once the first answer has been selected Â
- Users can change their responses at any time, including their answer to the first question, which dynamically updates the remaining questions
- If one or more questions are left unanswered, the system highlights them in red until a response is provided Â
- Whenever the questionnaire is closed and the user returns to the Registration page, all previously entered field values in the registration page remain preserved Â
- After submission, the suggested account type based on the userâs responses is displayed in the center of the screenÂ
Â
- Holder Account Activation – âContractâ Button RewordingÂ
Description: For Holder account types, the âContractâ button displayed during the account activation, while registering with TMCH, process has been renamed to âTerms & Conditionsâ. This update applies to Holder Prepaid and Holder Credit Card accounts and reflects the step in the activation process where users are asked to review and accept the Terms & Conditions before proceeding.Â
In addition, a new explanatory phrase has been added above the button:Â âClick to review and accept Terms & Conditionsâ.Â
This improvement makes the purpose of the step clearer for users and aligns the wording more closely with the action required to continue the account activation process.Â
- Holder Credit Card Accounts – Removal of âAdditional Email Notificationsâ PageÂ
Description: The âAdditional Email Notificationsâ page has been removed from the interface for Holder Credit Card accounts.Â
Previously, the âMy Accountâ page for Holder Credit Card accounts included a section with a button linking to the âAdditional Email Notificationâ page. As this account type does not support adding or receiving notifications at additional email addresses, this section and button have now been removed.Â
Release: 18/03/2026
- ProofMarked Enhancements
Description: Following the introduction of ProofMarked on TMCH, which enhances brand visibility and user trust by allowing verified brands to display their authenticated logo next to the URL in the browserâs address bar, we have added a new ProofMarked section on the details page of each trademark record where users can upload their trademark logo or a trademark certificate that includes the trademark logo.
When users select a verified trademark record with a valid POU from their Markâs Overview list, the new ProofMarked section becomes available. In this section, users can upload a trademark certificate containing their logo or confirm that a previously uploaded certificate (which includes the trademark logo) can be shared with ProofMarked for validation. The data is then sent directly to ProofMarked for verification.
The section becomes visible when the record has âVerifiedâ status and a valid POU.
Key features:
-
- Users can upload a valid trademark certificate that includes their logo in the ProofMarked section of their TMCH record and must confirm the upload by selecting a mandatory checkbox and accepting the terms.
- Upon confirmation, the system securely transmits the trademark details and certificate to ProofMarked via API, and the document is stored within the TMCH recordâs attachments.
- Users receive a confirmation message once their data has been successfully shared
- E-signature POU Flow â View E-signed Declaration in PDF
Description: Previously, users who wanted to view the e-signed declarations had to download the document or send a copy to their email address.
Users can now directly view their e-signed declarations in PDF format by clicking the declarationâs linked name in the list. This improvement allows users to quickly review their declarations and take immediate actions, such as selecting that declaration from the list or e-signing a new one.
- Registration Page â âHow to Registerâ Manual Update
Description: We have introduced a new readily detailed manual titled âHow to Register as a Trademark Holder or Trademark Agent.â
The manual is easily accessible from the Registration page through the button at the top of the page and is also available under the Manuals section on our website.
- Login Page Logo Redirect Update
Description: On the Sign-In page, the Trademark Clearinghouse logo is now clickable and redirects users to the Welcome/Home page, where the âRegister,â âSign In,â and âTransfer Recordâ buttons are available.
This change improves navigation by making the Welcome/Home page easier to access, as it had become less visible since it is typically only reachable after logging out of a TMCH account.
Release: 19/02/2026
- E-Signature Implementation
Description: TMCH now introduces electronic signing for the Proof of Use (POU) Declaration. Users can choose between two options:
- E-sign the POU Declaration online, or
- Manually upload the POU Declaration by downloading the template, signing it, and uploading it back to the TMCH interface.
The electronic signing functionality is available when submitting a new record with POU documentation, submitting POU documentation at a later stage, or resubmitting documentation that has been marked as âIncorrect.â
If the user selects the e-signature option, they can either choose a previously e-signed declaration (if one has already been signed for the same organization in the past) or generate a new declaration by selecting âE-sign declaration.â The declaration is automatically pre-filled with the name of the submitting party, taken from the Organization/Full Name field, as well as the current date. The fields in the e-signed version cannot be edited. The user only needs to complete the signature. If this pre-filled version does not meet the userâs needs, a manually signed declaration must be uploaded instead.
After signing the declaration, the user must return to the TMCH interface, click the arrow button to display the newly signed declaration, and select it within the system. The user should then upload the Proof of Use sample in the âProof of Use â Otherâ section.
Key features:
-
- If a user attempts to both manually upload and e-sign the declaration before submitting their mark, the system retains the document generated by the method used most recently.
- If no declaration is uploaded or signed while the Sunrise service is enabled, a warning message prompts the user to upload or sign a declaration.
- The e-sign feature is also available when PoU documents are requested at a later stage or marked as âIncorrectâ.
- Removal of the BrandPulse references from the TMCH interface.
Description:Â BrandPulse was fully decommissioned from TMCH in 2022. Therefore, the ability to add additional email addresses as recipients to the BrandPulse report has now been removed from the âMy Account > âAdditional Email Addressâ page for both Agent and Holder Prepay accounts.

- E-Signature for Contract Flow â Agents
Description: TMCH is now introducing a new e-signature option for Agents registering with the platform. Users can now choose between two options:
- E-sign the contract online, or
- Download, sign, and upload the contract manually.
- Updates for Organization Name Changes
Description: âŻGoing forward when a user changes the âorganization nameâ in the trademark record, the POU status will no longer remain âVALIDâ, but will automatically go to âCORRECTEDâ instead.
This has the implication that you should first proactively update the Proof of Use (POU) documentation (signed declaration) by changing the POU status from âVERIFIEDâ to âINCORRECTâ before making any changes to the trademark record. Once the updated signed declaration is submitted the POU status is changed to âCORRECTEDâ and no further modifications can be made to the POU documentation from your side.
Once the new POU documents are submitted, you may proceed with changing the details in your trademark record. After submitting the required changes to the trademark record, the status will change to âCORRECTEDâ and the Trademark Clearinghouse validators will verify the newly submitted trademark record details and POU documentation.
- If the submitted information is deemed correct by the Trademark Clearinghouse validators, the trademark record will be put to âVERIFIEDâ and the POU will be put on âVALIDâ. If the submitted information is not correct, the status of the trademark record or POU will be put to âINCORRECTâ and you will have the option to change the needed information at that point.
If you do not proactively change the POU information before changing the âorganization nameâ in the trademark record, your POU will be flagged as âINCORRECTâ by the validators and you will need to upload new POU documentation at this point to be sunrise eligible.
- Proofmarked
Description: Proofmarked allows you to display your companyâs logo next to your URL in internet browsers, helping to demonstrate the authenticity of your website to visitors. This innovative feature effectively combats phishing, fraud, fake news, and counterfeits in a clear and visual way. ProofMarked can be easily activated via the TMCH platform by following this guide.

- Removal of Auto-Renew Button for Expired/Deactivated Marks:
Description: With the introduction of the auto-renew feature for Agents (non-API users) and Holders with a prepaid account, we have updated the TMCH WebApp to enhance user experience . As part of this update, the “Enable” button will no longer be visible for trademark records with an “Expired” or “Deactivated” status, since these statuses do not allow agents and holders to renew their Trademark records in the  TMCH.
- Update the links in the userâs interface:
Description: We have updated several links that redirect to the TMCH manuals within the Agents, Holders, and Holderâs Prepaid interfaces. The updated links include:
-
-
- The “VIEW USER MANUAL” on the “Support” page.
- The link to the manual under “Services > Notification Management > How to Manage Your TMCH Services.”
- The link to the manual on the “Execute Transfer” page.
-
- Auto-renew feature & API users:
Description: The auto-renewal feature is available exclusively for the Holder’s prepaid accounts and for Agents who are not API users. If an Agent, who is not an API user, enables API settings, the auto-renewal feature will be automatically disabled for all records where it is currently active.
In light of this update, a confirmation pop-up message has been implemented to inform users when they attempt to enable the API settings through “My Account > API Settings.” The message will read as follows: “Please be advised that enabling API settings will automatically deactivate the auto-renewal feature for all records where it is currently enabled.”
- Auto-renewal notifications in the âMy account>Archives Messagesâ section:
Description: Notifications related to the auto-renewal feature are now available for prepaid accounts in the âMy Account>Archive Messagesâ section of the user interface.
The following notifications are only visible for prepaid Holders and Agents:
- âYour trademark has been successfully auto-renewed for an additional one-year period. â
- âYour trademark record is scheduled for automatic renewal on mark expiry date. Please ensure that your prepaid account has sufficient funds to cover the renewal. â
- âYour trademark auto-renewal was unsuccessful due to insufficient funds in your account. To auto-renew your trademark in the TMCH, please top up your account as soon as possible. By topping up your account the auto-renewal for this trademark record will automatically become effective. If you top-up your account but do not wish to proceed with the auto-renewal, you first need to opt-out before the top-up by selecting the specific trademark record and disabling auto-renewal. â
Release 11/12/2024:
- Variations on the âServicesâ tab for Holders/Prepay Holders/Agents Interfaces:
Description: All TMCH services are now consolidated into a single tab (Services) for a better user-friendly experience. Within the Services tab, a new page titled âVariationsâ is added. This page offers a comprehensive overview of all trademark records in the userâs portfolio that have active variations, along with key details such as u-labels, mark status, POU status, and expiry dates for each trademark record. When a user adds a variation to a trademark record, the record will automatically appear in this table, and vice versa.
- Auto-Renewal for Trademark Records (Prepaid Accounts):
Description: Trademark Holders (prepay) and Agents can now auto-renew their trademark records for one-year periods. Only trademark records with a âverifiedâ status are eligible for auto-renewal. The auto-renewal is executed on the expiry date of the trademark record. This new feature is currently exclusively available for non-API users.
- Activation:
- Users can enable the auto-renewal function for each trademark record from their portfolio via the new Auto-renew page under the âServicesâ tab.
- The activation button is also available on the mark details page and during the submission of new trademark records in TMCH.
- Notifications:
- New proactive email notifications will alert users 30 and 15 days before Trademark record expiry. The message will warn users to verify that their current account pre-paid balance contains sufficient funds to execute the auto-renewal.
- Reactive notifications for unsuccessful renewals (e.g., due to insufficient funds) and notifications for  successful renewals.
- Multi-Renew Page Updates:
- Users will be directed to the updated âMulti Renewâ page when they click the âRenew Marks About to Expireâ button on their interface. Previously, this page allowed users to view expiring records and manually renew them. With the auto-renewal launch, the ‘Multi Renew’ page provides a preview of the total number of records nearing expiration, which are set for the auto-renewal process. Additionally, users will see a preview of the total payment amount that will be deducted from their prepaid account after the auto-renewal execution.”
- Transfers:
- When a record is transferred, the auto-renewal feature for that trademark record will not be transferred along to the new agent and hence will be automatically disabled. Users will have the chance to enable the auto-renew functionality again in the new account.
NOTE: The auto-renew feature allows you to renew your trademark record automatically for one-year periods. To renew your trademark for multiple years (3 or 5 years), users can still do this manually. Click the âRenew Marks About to Expireâ button to access the updated âMulti-Renewâ page.
